Instant Pohe Recipe – A traditional Maharashtrian preparation made from gluten-free flattened rice, cooked with sauteed onions, curry leaves, coriander and green chillies. The flavour is a delicate balance of spices and herbs.

Ingredients
Flattened rice, onion, rice bran oil, coriander, salt, green chillies, sugar, curry leaves, ginger, jeera, asafoetida, coriander seeds, mustard seeds, turmeric, citric acid.

Instructions

  1. Empty packet (200g) in a pan.
  2. Soak in hot water for 3 minutes.
  3. If using a cooktop, cover and steam the PohΓ© for 3-4 minutes stirring occasionally.
  4. Garnish with coriander, lemon wedge, grated coconut & serve hot.
