Ingredients:

Rice, moogdal, rice bran oil, salt, kala masala, ginger, garlic, sugar, curry leaves, turmeric, asafoetida, jeera, mustard seeds, red chillies.

Instructions:

  1. Rice, moogdal, rice bran oil, salt, kala masala, ginger, garlic, sugar, curry leaves, turmeric, asafoetida, jeera, mustard seeds, red chillies.
  2. Add 650ml hot water.
  3. Put the pressure cooker on high heat for 3 whistles.
  4. Put on low heat for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Open lid after pressure is released.
  6. Garnish with ghee and fresh coriander.
